-Infantry combat feels pretty great. Sniping, shotgunning, "clutch"ing are all very fun. Different weapons have very niche uses and work in specific roles.
-I can easily see how teamwork improves this game. Notably: blaster rifle players deploying ammo stations and using range while shotgun players deploy health stations, and suddenly a position is nigh impenetrable.
-Being able to contest point captures by spawning on them is an interesting mechanic, I like it.
-Current minimap helps players navigate to fights in large spaces, useful.
-Invasion mode is actually fun, and while it may feel unbalanced at first, if there's enough players per side it is possible to win as both Comm and Vori.
-Vehicular combat feels... choppy. Smoothing has come a ways to help, but I usually find myself only using aircraft and ground vehicles as transportation, and ditch them as soon as I'm where I need to be.
-Turrets do not update facing direction on minimap
-Aircraft struggle against basic infantry, on numerous occasions I've nailed aircraft with the base AR/blaster rifle, but failed to do so in the AA turrets. Conversely, as aircraft I so frequently get nailed by one or two shmucks even when trying to shoot back. Maybe some light splash damage rounds to tackle the awkward infantry engagements?
All in all I am enjoying my time with this game. I will be throwing my support behind it once I can, and will likely be binging it until the support ends for the demo.
Also, as a temporary fix for the "stuck in menu" glitch, I find that killing oneself with the suicide key (usually /?) does return you to the spawn menu.
